The definition of "retail" used in the industry does not include the direct channel sales. That is how AMD was able to achieve the high 40% and up market segment share in "retail".

Yes they are. They are not leaving the consumer market however. They will sell plenty of Aptiva's online, more than before.

AMD needs HWP or GTW very soon! CPQ is realy expanding their AMD offerings which is of coure a good thing.
