At the risk of sounding like a paranoid feminist, I sometimes wonder if research into feminine health issues has been as complete and thorough as it should have been. There is all that evidence about how heart attacks more frequently go untreated in women, and how many of our concerns and pains are brushed off as emotional or trivial by physicians.

OF course I believe that a lot of what appears to be emotional is in fact physiologically based.

Which I realize has nothing to do with tampons, but I can visualize a pervasive sort of big deal attitude in the lab. I wouldn't think this was exactly a sexy area of R&D to be in.

But then, maybe my hormones are making me bitchy and whiny today.
