It was wrong for MSFT to go down today in sympathy with DELL

- As everyone should know; DELL is a great commoditizer; whereas MSFT is the real thing

i cannot remember such positive comments from msft. dell, intc, cpq
investors--climb aboard.

This company is my largest holding, but I have to say I believe that MSFT execs realized, because they only met the whisper number and with the market in Meltdown Mode, that if they gave their usual "sky will probably fall next quarter" outlook then the stock would tank. They gave the outlook they did today because they felt that they had to.

They could have given the same sort of outlook any quarter in the past, but they never had to. This time they felt that they had to tell the truth.

All the above is IMHO, of course.
