MILPITAS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 20, 1999--C-Cube Microsystems today donated $60,000 to Taiwan earthquake relief efforts through the Northern California chapter of the Taiwan-headquartered Buddhist Compassion Relief Tzu-Chi Foundation.

``Since the earthquake, the people of Taiwan have struggled through great difficulty and overwhelming devastation,' said Alex Balkanski, CEO. ``This donation is intended to help relieve some of the human suffering they have experienced.'

The non-profit Buddhist Compassion Relief Tzu-Chi Foundation provides disaster relief, medical treatment, educational development and other aid to the needy worldwide.

``We are proud to present this gift in the name of C-Cube's three production partners in Taiwan: TSMC, UMC and Siliconware,' Balkanski said. ``Our relationship with these companies and their employees is important to us, and we want them to know how much we appreciate their efforts.'

Thanks gg. That means that C-Cube earned $.314986 per share. You need to lean real hard to round up to $.32 per share.:)

R&D and SGA only went up a total of 1.04M R&D was 20.8% of sales this Q vs. 22% last Q.

$.04 per share was from interest income.

They must have bought back another $1.2M worth of cov. bonds.

But the number that stands out is "Income from Operations" up $2.875M from last Q. That's 19.5% "real" growth from last Q.
