Hey, colds are a great excuse to stay home from work and play online. Who wants to give that up?

Your boss.

I'm not opposed to contrary opinions, and I haven't read where anyone else is either. You are in the vast minority of humans if your colds only last 3 days. Numerous research indicates that colds last an average of 10 to 14 days, and I would tend to believe the credibility of unbiased research over that of one or two short sellers. Further, the size of the OTC cold remedy market was $2.5 billion in 1998, and Zicam will get a good chunk of it. You are in the minority of people if you won't spend $9 or $10 to get rid of a cold in 1.5 days, not to mention that one bottle of Zicam treats three colds.

Short away fools, if you can even find stock to short. GUMM is restricted and most brokers don't have stock to short. Even if you do manage to short it, the only effect that you will have is to create more demand for the stock if the clinical studies are favorable. Oh, and don't forget about the joint venture for nicotine gum that will soon be announced. This will add significantly to GumTech's revenues and turn them profitable even without Zicam. Nicotine gum has the propensity to be as big, or even bigger than Zicam.

Scare tactics don't work on me, and from what I have read from other large investors in GumTech, they don't work on them either. We have seen it all from short sellers over the past nine months and I just laugh at their ignorance. Statements such as this is "Quigley II" show a gross ignorance for what this company is about. Is that really the best you all can do? LOL. Go ahead and give it your best shot to wear me down. I'll just buy more.

Regards,

Dan
