IMO the charges against Cowpland are well justified. Posts here at the time his stock dumping was revealed persuasively pointed out he had to be lying when he claimed he didn't know pipeline sales had plummeted as he sold more than 25% of his position. Right now, we can and should accord Cowpland the presumption of innocence everyone is entitled to in the Canadian system, but sooner or later his lawyers will force him to see the light, bargain for freedom from a long jail sentence, disgorge some or all of his ill-gotten gains, plead guilty to some lesser offence, and keep his wife. <g>

When the realization sets in that Cowpland likely will plead guilty to avoid an expensive and risky trial, the board will have no choice except discharge him or accept his resignation. How else react to a CEO who brazenly screwed his own shareholders in order to save his personal hide? My expectation is the stock will then go up substantially.

Frank if the OSC did not file charges against Mr Cowpland the stock would surely be$8.00us by the end of the month. With the upcoming show and the "major"release of CLD and the strong possiblity of large contracts maybe even mergers Corel will eventually show it's real worth. If Cowpland steps down the sky is the limit for this stock.Been stress out owning this stock but eventually the longs will be rewarded for their endurance.Hold tight-Hold long.........
