There is one think you can say about the Futures compared to an experience like that, if you have an order in and it passes through your Buy signal it gets done.

That should happen with stocks as well, but with them so far behind, and everything on paper in those days, my order probably never got to the floor broker. With stocks normally the only time there is a question on a buy is when the bid gets that low but the ask doesn't. In that case, sometimes it fills, and sometimes it doesn't.
