Marty, you may be too young to have heard the quote: "Sometimes silence is golden..." Today, just the numbers alone speak. Also, take a look around SI...1000MicroCaps for instance... When thinking of RB....I think of quantity vs. quality! Don't understand your comments...."changing anyone's mind..." or "effect the price of the stock"... Don't know about you, but I value the contributions to SI, on many of the boards....mostly I just lurk, and learn as I go....but, as far as the boards 'effecting the price of the stock....' HA! NOT!!! Surely you jest!

I can't imagine SI effecting the price of IBM at all.
This board historically has had a lot of traffic for about 3 weeks after earnings announcements. Almost all of the Bears in the stock have given up, and have stopped posting (so there's no one to argue with).
After earnings I also seem to remember several regulars on the Dell thread coming over to belittle IBM's earnings. And I doubt they'll be coming over to gloat (unless earnings or cc call are negative).
