Benkea, I do not think so. I am gambling on a slowdown or even reccession.

In a way IBM AMGN and DELL are telling you that (memory prices is BS they are below mid September now)

50/50 I'll take my chances on rates, I plan on a 10-15 yr note so I'm not to concerned. If you lived in the New England area and what happened in the late 80s you would know that I'll be able to pick up house a much cheaper than right now.

If you are paying cash, then wait. If not, you may not get the same rates which will more than offset a higher purchase price in the longer term.

Still better to be less in debt than paying higher interest. You can always refinance in the future if the interest lowers. But there is nothing you can do if the house lose value.
