Not sure. Maybe we can get Haim to weigh in on this. I believe he has DSL service.

...would DSL fit into this modem tax? Does DSL plug into the local phone loop?...

Thomas I have a ADSL modem on a regular telephone line. Was able to order up to 7 megbyte downstream bu why the bucks as teh internet itself can not handle such speeds.

I settled for a 640K line. The fastes I got was yesterday by downloading 2 files from Diamond Multimedia at 55Kbyte/sec.

Very pleased wen it works but you need a speedy PC 450 MHz or up to enjoy the benefits.

I ordered an internal from Efficient Networks (Speed Stream 3060) it is not a finished product and in conjunction with WIN98 it failed several times.

1 Soundcard 2 monitors one analog modem and one DSL IRQ's get scrambled. <GG>

Wen it works it is great hot online and ISP service for $49. Modem $99

Hope it helps

Haim
