Re: Y2K - many of these problems are already being encountered - and fixed, now. We found one with Oracle recently. If you set an expiration date on a user's password on some date into the future, and that future date is in 2000, Oracle thinks it's 1900 and expires them immediately. So, it's a pain, but not a disaster.
