That's true...but the bonds will come down and the markets will get some support from that......I doubt bonds are competitive with the publics expectations for equity gains. <<smile>>

My Best Guess:
House accounts managers and large firms are taking profits in October to locke any gains for the year. Public are still buyers and will do so into November.
Then the public sell off for Y2K in Dec
Then the managers buy back big time in early January
Then international finical problems middle of January brings nervousness to everyone.
