Since you mentioned poets, I thought I'd add my 2 cents. <G>

I agree with you on the strength QCOM is showing today. Even a marginally positive close signals the beginning of an earnings run, IMO.

I just wanted to mention that our buddy Jim Willie is in Ft. Bob until Monday. You're sorely missed, Jim.

If QCOM were to close up for today, I would have to say, in-light of the damaging reporting last night, that a solid bottom has been made in QCOM.

I think unless Q surprises very nicely to the upside, we could easily see a sizeable dip after earnings. Look at companies like AMCC and PMCS - great quarters and great guidance, and they still got hit. Fund managers want to lock in their profits. Plus we'll be at the end of earnings, and closing in on another Fed Meeting.
