WOW!! Look at MO. Its not often that a DOW COMPONENT loses more than 50%. Wonder if that is an omen.

Benkea--Thanks. I see how one gets the split values now. Others on this tread might appreciate that info, too.

The splits in Dell since 1992 then amount, by my calculations, to 96 fold. I don't know what 100 shares would have cost you back then, but those shares would be worth about $365,000 today. Damn. Why didn't I see that?

Hindsight is always 20/20. It's foresight that is difficult. I think that nuclear winter has the ring of truth to it and I hope to make some money playing it.
