Amir, Nice to hear from you again. The market has treated me wonderfully, though less so this year than in the past three. However, it seems to be trying to close the gap in the countdown to oblivion. <g>

I always have long ideas. But I am 10% long on my total portfolio, so I don't think that is where the cutest girls are. I love Duramed, Vasotech, Swiss Francs, the Euro, GZTC, Ligand, many of the usual suspects. I still hold some ASA, but am not buying more since the rise.

I am not worried about RJR and MO's impact on the economy, as somebody will always step in and sell killer drugs to the weak of will. If I didn't find them moral slime, I would be buying shares right now.

IBM is an end game annuity story. As their business contracts, they will continue to have high cash flow, as they need to spend nothing on research. Unfortunately, Louie da Lip has tried to cover this and has taken many stupid actions that make that end game annuity less valuable. So, is IBM good at $20. Yes, if they fire Gert. If they don't fire him, there is no telling how much damage he can do.
