>>Join the club.. we can both dive into the garbage pail together....<<

Yeah, but I started the day at $226K or thereabouts -- so I have less breathing room! Actually, it was not the day trades that killed me--if anything, I came out ahead on the day trades! What got me was the position trades -- came into the day long, reversed at 80 to the short side and then it goes up 16 points from there!!!

I estimate that I'll be below $200K in equity when we start the day tomorrow! You know, David wanted to use $150K as the cut-off at which point a contestant would be tossed out -- I suggested to him that we ought to go with $50K instead given so that the less experienced traders would have a better chance of surviving. It did not pass my mind that I would could end up needing the lower threshold!!

>>I never use stops....

I always use stops when trading for real -- am a little wary of stops with the mini because of the spikes but I am even more wary of SI not being accessible. So I play it by ear.

>> today, I used a stop and was taken out at the low of the day and was long 25 contracts from 80.4.....<g> <<

Now that makes me feel just a shade better:)

Ah well, tomorrow is another day -- a hanging man would suit me fine. In fact, any pattern that would bring this thing crashing down would be fine by me.

Take care
