Great Article. No doubt Bell Atlantic [BA] is behind this injustice since they can't make DSL work thru their Digital Loop carriers without major investments in infrastructure. Outside an urban area their stuff is junk and they know it. Instead of competing and risking their capital to improve their Outside Plant like the CATV companies, they decide to derail the competition. What a travesty, BA makes me ill. I hope this issue goes to the Supreme Court. The feds really need to stop these local skin deals between Telephone, AOL and the local politicians. This is in direct violation of the 96 telcom act.
