Sector, The point is that MRVC is NOT a last mile company. They may have a few last mile products/technologies but they are not a last mile company. I did point out to you that I have not done a complete dd on this company but the cursory reading I have done is pretty clear about what this company is/wants to be. Last mile is not the focus. As for Zhone - that is what they want to focus on...and as soon as that became clear MRVC was no longer a reasonalbe consideration. That's my point. I was not or did not imply that MRVC has no last mile functionality. I said they are not a last mile company...and well.....they aren't. OG

Sector, I get an error message when I click on your talk.techstocks links. Is this problem unique to me or is SI having a problem? I know I sound like a broken record but I still haven't gotten an answer from anyone with your level of expertise as to whether MRV has a pure optical switch. Did you ever subscribe to the Gilder Tech. Report? If you did, then you know why I keep asking this question. I would post some relevant comments from him but I'm sure some anal retentive Gilder devotees would get the post zapped into a black hole. Regards, Bob
