Hello gemsearcher, Russett, Vaughn et al.,

I think many people are questioning the various directions that SUF seems to headed towards. Certainly, it is possible that both production and exploration could be achieved at the same time, and certainly, if the share price were back at $10.00, we wouldn't be as harsh in our questions or judgement.

I believe that 5 very important developments will occur at SUF in the next short while: the new CEO, the bankable feasibility study and financing details from Messina, 3rd quarter numbers, an update from Camafuca and a grade and valuation of some sort from the fissures. At this juncture, each may viewed as critical towards restoring the credibility to the company, confidence to analysts/investors, and some positive momentum to the share price.

Since many long term supporters/shareholders seem to have strong views on how SUF's future should be shaped, I would encourage all those concerned to call SUF and speak with the various directors. As these very important developments are about to occur, I think it advisable that anyone concerned with their investment should pick up the phone and call these guys. They are working for us, and should be aware of our legitimate concerns.

I'm certainly not suggesting that five hundred people call up and yell at the directors, but a well-reasoned discussion of how you view your investment and its future path would likely impress the gravity of the situation on these fellows. I've spoken with a number of them and found them to very good listeners, understanding of the situation and seemingly ready to react positively and proactively. As you can see from the SUF website, many of the directors have tremendous experience and past successes. I believe that they hold the key to the future direction of SUF, and the decisions being made in the next short while will have a long-lasting effect on SUF's future. So speak up now as the die is being cast.

Just my thoughts,

Confluence

Does anybody know if SUF still holds ground in Manitoba? There is a rumor that kimberlite was found on some of their claims near Dyce Lake, an affiliate of DeBeers has picked up some of that ground. The claims were formerly called the "ERA Group" part of that group was near Dyce and Moose Lake. I'm asking because there is a bit of a rush to the area.

Hello Gemseacher

I believe management is. Unfortunately discoveries can not be made to order and they do not occur precisely every six months or even every year. Long before most of our current crop of posters frequented this thread I, Peter, Goalie and a few others can probably all recall several long appreciation draughts between SUF's original Klipspringer Leopard fissure discovery and any of their other finds. The stock languished then as it is now in between new news or the prospect of new news.

It spiked in the spring and dumped in the summer and after Klipspringer that cycle only varied to accommodate annually announced August-October RSA progress. None of us screamed at management in those days, as we knew they were doing their best and that was simply the trading pattern of most diamond juniors.

As you know, it was only after an extraordinary series of exciting NR's two years ago that we flew to $20 and just as obviously, that appreciation had nothing to do with being supported by revenues or profits. There were none.

People invested then knowing none existed and knowing what SUF published in their annual reports, which was that any eventual revenues would be used to explore and grow the company.

We have had an extraordinarily long discovery dry spell and an equally long litany of less than stellar news so is it any wonder that our share price is languishing again?

Chris is responsible for finding what we have found and he is responsible for securing the properties that offer so much promise for our future. The fact that the "street" and disgruntled shareholders persuaded him to step down is a bloody shame as far as I am concerned and a terrible mistake. Chris is Southernera and this company would not be what it is without him guiding it. I for one wish he would reconsider his resignation and I can only hope that in what ever capacity he carries on with SUF, his opinions will be given the most serious consideration.

Regarding the matter of whether I own any of SUF's JV partners, yes I do and I have made no secret about that, but what does that matter. I could have just as easily lied and said I did not. SUF is certainly my most significant holding with out question. Before calling into question my motives in touting the Yamba Lake play, I would invite the thread to consider whether there might be any ulterior motive in those who constantly harp about SUF management and our share performance. Might there be a vested interest in some of those who so frequently go out of their way to make so many negative posts?

I understand loss a well as any one and certainly I understand the frustration of people who may have bought at much higher prices. However, if people in the red want to see those prices again, it is not be ousting Chris or lobbying for the termination of exploration initiatives. Those are the ingrediants that created the appreciation in the first place and they will do it again.

Food for thought to all those who would consider destroying this company and disheartening a very good man.

Regards
