Again, since I tend not to trust what I see on the surface, if I were short, I might hang in a little longer. We're swinging crazily in one week from extreme despair to extreme mania. The truth is somewhere in the middle and I won't be surprised to see some selling next week to test the bulls' resolve. This would fit in with Don's class sells.

But that's me.

Stephen, i'm easy.
but i agree that throwing in the towel looks like a seductive option since the market shrugs off bad news and rallies at the slightest hint of good news. nevertheless, all rallies since July have been corrective in character and i see no reason yet for that to change...the bond market is still signaling inflation. that's much more meaningful than the current WS spin of endless re-iteration of the same old mantra.
it's easy to manipulate the stock market...the bond market is a different matter.
