Well, where ever I look they include it in retrace figures along with the .382 and .618. But I believe your right 50% has no relationship to Fib numbers...Where would it fit in?

GZ, you are technically correct. A lot of trading software throw in 50% (for good measure) in Fib retracement tools. Don't ask me why. Matt

50% is Definitely a Fibonacci Ratio. The ratio is based on the famous additive rabbit theorom.

1+1=2...1+2=3.....2+3=5....3+5=8....5+8=13....etc

the 1+2 is where the 50% comes in.
