Fred,
I think it's for real. Money is coming back in. I think the Friday afternoon selloff was caused by two things: 1) the CSCO rumor (which was false) and 2) the next trading day is MONDAY and it is still OCTOBER. Lots of superstition out there. Most folks are still very nervous and wanted to go home flat. Actually the CSCO rumor probably did the bulls a favor. My Stochastics were running in the high 90's all day and the CSCO thing dropped them down into the 40's. Just enough to give us some room to pop come Monday AM when the money comes back IMO. It will be real interesting to watch the futures on the Sunday night globex session. It should tell the real deal. If it is coming back, you shorts better cover on the globex or you will be hating life come Monday morning. Matt
