What's your opinion of Linux? I've got a local PC guru up here in upstate NY who has gone from being an advocate of Microsoft's operating systems (for many years) to a vociferous critic and now sings the praises of Linux...stability etc. He says that if you've got "serious business" to do, Linux is the way to go.

What do you think?

Can you tell me more about Drive Image? Is this where you can copy the contents of one HD onto another? I've been interested in backing up my files ever since I read PMS Witch talking about Partition Magic (or was it Drive Image??).

Do you recommend copying to, say, the D: or E: drive on the SAME HD or else copying to a physically separate HD? And is a 2nd HD easy to install if I need it?
