cut the crap...

drug companies raise prices...if we have inflation, they'll raise prices even further...you might have to give up a lot of things in a depression, but eating and taking your meds ain't two of them...i never said i'd buy them here, however and the multiples are indeed too high, but i'd rather own them here then even the best of the nas...

Larry Ellison of Orcl says something similar, even more extreme if i recall. and they are right...i use a network at home which is connected to the BIG network...

btw, i do not dispute that we live in an era of great technological progress that will turn out to be very beneficial long term.
and of course there will be companies profiting greatly from that.
however, today's stock market darlings which hold the indices aloft seem to discount not just the future, but the hereafter.

and that is due to the irresponsible monetary policy by the Fed, which has fed the bubble the excess liquidity it needed to expand. so no matter how wonderful the technology, valuations will have to come down, and drastically.

US patents expire 20 years from the date of filing. Used to be 17 years from the date of granting.

If you don't like what's posted on the thread, why do you stick around? Is there anyone on this thread who wants to hear what you have to say? I'd love to take a vote on this, but you and I already know what the result would be. You don't post anywhere but here, do you? Gee, wonder why, is it because there's no place else on SI where they will put up with you?
