I asked my brokerage (National Discount) if putting in such a sell
order on my shares would ensure that they couldn't be used for
shorting. I didn't get a direct yes or no answer. What was said, and
the way is was said, led me to believe that NDB wanted to be able to
use the shares it holds for shorting purposes, and they weren't going
to encourage the "locking up" of shares in this way.

Result, I put in a sell order at $3.00
