There was a time, I suppose when it all worked right, when I got
a call back from a manager about my complaints re web page format. I don't think that is going to happen, now.

Maybe they've reach the end point of scalability and can't admit
it. I would feel much better if they could provide a Microsoft-free
guarantee, but I believe it generally is a unix underlayment, but
possibly mixed systems. By necessity, they'd have to do that. So
there are now 64-bit systems and 32-bit systems, big- and little-
endian possibly. Mix it all up and throw some "cross-compiled"
common perl system update in the test cluster, try a few trades
and it works then implement it in the mission system. Eventually
bugs will be developed in a "up to date" environment. Its only
the unmaintained systems that have stability and if not reliability,
more predictability.
