Agreed, when Maxam went from 33 to 11 a year ago when they DOUBLED the shares count YOU and me supported it because we knew what it was and would see that Preferreds related to the Common. Here we have no info on the reasons. We deserve those reasons. This is the fact at which we are so close to the setup that we have a situation in our past that had taught us. There are Labs out there that want a big percent of a company for a piece ( big ) of any other given company...I suspect that will enter into the equation. I invite folks to read old history at IPM/IGCO and the Thread Header at SI on ISRI:and this:
Top - ISRI read evey word of Header

WOW...I wish I could figure it...I actually called Globals Answering MACHINE at the close and told those two in the office to not keep their shareholdees/long term supporters in the dark IF they knew what was happening. ( SIC- If they DON't5 know even say so openly). I even said...Honestly Is The Best Policy...even if the truth hurts or some such...the holders deserve the real info. Then after the call...one lone last trade comes in at 135,000 Size and I get my calculator out and do currancy exchange figuring ...I end up with a round decimal number and I call a bud...he says I am standing on sand...I say; I have a right to stand on DIRT! Not funny. I have not sold...nor bot recently. Time will tell ifing/ whating.
Chucka

(Voluntary Disclosure: Position- Long; ST Rating- Hold; LT Rating- Hold)
We are seeing a merge ala ( but not with them- or a stave off with a Sabin Type or Newtech Type other Company) Johnson and Lett with MGAU or we are seeing a WAY to FEND OFF such a one third DILLUTION TO ALL LOYAL SHAREHOLDERS...but we are not told yet that J & T are in fact HELPING us fend off such an attack. IMHO. A Guess.
Chucka - They are raising MONEY to help GLOBAL progress is my GUESS! That rhymns! The last trade of yesterday was a TEN THOUSAND DOLLAR trade..in my decimal math. IMHO. Me and my decimals are right every time( LOL ), a guess but $10 K is a level of need at the painted end of the day...a guess...not standing on anything but...SAND!

Your theories are getting a bit wild aren't they. Any dillution of the stock by selling huge amounts of stock (which would be necessary at current prices) would hurt Jensen, Sonny, Twiford, etc. Twiford's comment to Ed was: "Twiford has also assured me, without documenting his belief, that there will be no bankruptcy and reorganization because no matter the share price Global will have the funds to continue until cash flow begins." You have twisted the comment. Twiford said no matter what the price. Since this could mean $0.01 or $0.005,etc. then your theory would mean that Jensen, et al do not care if their holdings are considerably dilluted. The same argument holds for your floorless theory. This is rather foolish (are you suffering another senior moment - VBG).

I would look at Twiford's comment another way: Perhaps GPGI/Jensen has enough cash to carry them through to the point where production yields a sufficient cash flow. This would mean that they have no need to sell shares to fund operations and the new plant.

I have only had one concern regarding the drastic drop in share price - dillution could be huge to keep them going if they had to sell shares to raise money. Twiford's comment appears to say that that need not be a concern.

Regards,
Bob
