UFB....someday this sh*t will matter...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Fed reported this week that margin debt jumped to a record $179.3 billion in September, up from $176.4 billion in August, breaking the old high of $178.4 billion just reached in July.
[...]
"Again, it was the old buy-on-dip game and borrow against your margin accounts to trade stocks that caused the jump in margin debt," said Raymond DeVoe Jr., market strategist for Legg Mason Wood Walker.
MadDog,
If I were a MSDW customer, which I am not, and if MSDW had some information contradicting the rumor, I would consider it their responsibility to let me know. I would not consider that an indication of MSDW being CSCO's lap dog. The customer's, may be. Well, it should be that way, no?
Do they stand to gain from this? I don't know, and I don't think you know for certain either. I do not believe in making unsubstantiated insinuations. Do you?
