I find this article to be outdated as it probably was written 3 weeks ago. Does anyone really believe there is a vendor out there that will not introduce the new PIII 733 system until the 820 comes out? Different systems, different usages. No? Further, while we all know all vendors who were counting on a Sept. intro date for the 820 were very upset by the delay, boycotting Intel's new PIII is suicide. Are they going to get in line fo the backlog of AMD chips or will they try the Apple chip (which also is in backlog)?

Gene, Jmac et al.

I don't know the release date of the article, but it is interesting to note that the reference to rambus memory was made in terms of being "faster". Sounds like unclewest speaking :^) Believe in Tench who says that 820 is the driver for rambus. Hmmm!
