I am not defending them nor am I asking you to be "nice" to them; I have simply explained why I can continue to be friendly toward them and there is a world of difference. I have also asked publicly and privately for space to get to know one another. I am not currying favor and have never done such a thing in my life. I am enjoying what is enjoyable, as I do with my women friends. I most certainly am not taking sides against any of my friends, men or women--to the point where I stayed as far away from the RR argument as possible. You do not have access to my PMs, so you have no idea how vigorously I have tried to stop behaviors that are unfair and nasty. Michael M. tried to give you an idea of how much I have tried, but you chose to disregard it. The time I asked you to back off from an attack on Terrence Bergh was when I realized that we had really drawn blood and that he was in pain. Otherwise, you are welcome to let him have it any time you wish; he's a big boy and can take care of himself. Ditto everyone else you have mentioned. As for my sex life, I have meant no offense and shall keep an eye out lest I offend.

Well, it was 41 years ago and I met this chick in a bar and we hit it off right away. She grabbed me by the crotch and dragged me off to her one room apartment. Needless to say I was mortified.
