HI!
(Penni gets a beer, kicks off her Keds and looks appreciatively around at at DAR-- Home SURE looks good! Except for the the leftover paint cans Mellie left lying on the grand piano- is she trying to hint we need some redecorating or is she just getting carried away with her new enthusiasm?
Hey- we are lucky here, I think. No, I know. Yup.

The swim meet was fun!! Once we got there. It took more like 3 1/2 hours because the traffic going through stupid Dallas was terrible. ANd so we missed Ammo's first race. WHich meant we saw him swim forrrr a bigggg

23 seconds!!!!!!

Which was really good because a 23 sec. 50 free is super and was a new best for him. And we cheered for all the kids --- we know so many of them from their being at the house all summer-- and then we went out to eat, put the top down- it was a GORGEOUS day, and headed home. I had a margarita for lunch and fell asleep. Dan said I was quite attractive with my baseball cap, Oakleys and mouth hanging open.

I'm going back to the pulmonary guy to see if I'm regaining any of my lost lung capacity. At this moment, it seems more important than bladder capacity, though that may change. So many of my little old lady cases were constantly going, ooops! And dripping off to the bathroom. It was pretty awful.
