I picked up "Duel: Alexander Hamilton, Aaron Burr and the future of America", by Thomas Fleming. Looks to be a good read.

Those may be my my my paint cans. I've been back at Home Depot a lot this week, and there's paint and lumber and all sorts of construction junk littered all over La Casa Freddy.

This evening I was installing some baseboards in the stairwell, and I was leaning on the armrail admiring my work. The rail ripped clean out of the drywall and sent me clattering down the stairs. Sh*t.
