Dan3: >>What is the "high cost of windows theory for Rambus?"<<

I should have questioned that statement before I posted it. I believe it was a miscommunication. After the fact I did question the sender of the PM I received. In his reply below it is plan to see that it was not a windows matter but the overall cost of a system with RDRAM.

"What I meant was, if Intel wants it will subsidize to implement Rambus quicker. The fact that Coppermine is going to be priced lower than PIII means that when every thing is put togather the final product is no more costlier than previous one with SDRAM. This elimnates the debate of the price issuses of RDRAM. Pardon my typos as English is not my mother tounge."
