Another e-mail, from Randy:

Subject: Message from the Chairman
Date: Sat, 23 Oct 1999 14:28:24 -0700
From: David Webb <info@bioponic.com>
To: info@bioponic.com

This email message is intended to reach all
those shareholders and other
parties interested in Bioponic International
who we believe received an
email message on Friday afternoon, October 22,
1999, from an individual
identifying himself as "Tom Perk." In that
message this individual took
it upon himself, without checking with the
Company, to "inform the
investors of Bioponic that the Company will be
filing forms for Chapter 7
bankruptcy this fall." On Saturday, October
23, 1999, "Tom Perk" sent a
second email message, purportedly to all those
receiving his first email
message, retracting the first message with a
ridiculous excuse about
"hearsay."

There is no excuse whatsoever for this kind of
reckless behavior. This is
obviously a totally irresponsible, and perhaps
malicious, use of the
Internet. We are actively seeking to learn
the identity of the person
responsible for this false message. The
Company is determining what
further action it will take to protect its
rights, and the interests of its
stockholders, against "Tom Perk" or any other
persons who recklessly or
maliciously spread false statements about
Bioponic International on the
Internet or in other media. Our Counsel has
already contacted Yahoo! in an
attempt to learn the identity of "Tom Perk."
We would appreciate your
assistance if you can help us locate this
individual.

Bioponic International has no plans whatsoever
to file for bankruptcy. To
the contrary, our business continues to
develop consistent with our
business plan and we are working on certain
long-term projects which we
expect to be able to disclose to the public in
the near future. In
addition, this past week we completed the
planning phase for an expansion
of our Parkmont Plant in Butte, Montana. This
expansion will eventually
enable us to increase our production
capability for liquid zinc sulfate to
a rate of approximately ten times our current
production rate. Also, we
continue to work toward completing the legal
and accounting efforts
necessary to both (i) file our Form 10 with
the SEC to become a
fully-reporting company, and (ii) effectuate
the planned spin-off of the
Airponic Growing System subsidiary to all the
Company's stockholders.

We will continue to keep you informed as best
we can on these and other
developments that may affect Bioponic
International stockholders.

Sincerely,

Randall S. Reis
Chairman & CEO

Bioponic International - With It's High Tech, State-of-the-Art, MR3 Process For Converting Hazardous Materials to Pure Metals - to File Form 10 With SEC

Friday October 8, 10:00 am Eastern Time
Company Press Release
SOURCE: Bioponic International

SAN RAFAEL, Calif., Oct. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Bioponic International (OTC Bulletin Board: BPON - news), with its high tech, state-of-the-art, MR3 metals extraction technology capable of converting hazardous liabilities into non-hazardous, profitable assets, is a development-stage company which plans to engage in the large-scale processing of industrial wastes and other complex metals sources into pure metals and specialty chemical products. The MR3 technology combines high-affinity metal capture, metal refining, waste decontamination, and water purification into a single, integrated system. The process is capable of extracting at least 24 different individual metals and separating them into high purity fractions using a cost-effective, low-temperature, passive process in an automated, modular treatment plant. The Company believes this to be the only technology available that can selectively remove and purify all targeted metals from aqueous solutions on a commercial scale.

Since May, 1999, the Company has been in limited production of a liquid form of zinc sulfate from the processing of zinc wastes at its Butte, Montana, plant for sale to a national chemical corporation under an open purchase order. Bioponic is currently focusing on and evaluating new large-scale commercial project opportunities for the treatment of three specific toxic waste materials: electric arc furnace dust; circuit board manufacturing effluent; and mercury-laden sludges.

Bioponic International is in the process of completing its Form 10 and the related financial audits, and will file with the SEC as soon as reasonably possible to become a fully-reporting company. The Company believes that all of its current market makers will continue to make a market in the Company's stock during this interim period. Trading in the Company's stock will continue as usual with real-time stock quotes available to shareholders and investors from the National Quotation Bureau's (NQB) new Electronic Quotation Service (EQS) through securities brokerage firms and on select Internet sites. Upon SEC approval, the Company's shares will return for trading on the OTC Bulletin Board.

This press release contains forward-looking statements that should not be used to make an investment decision. For further information, please refer to the Company's Web site at www.bioponic.com.
