engineer: Jack White was a good, down to earth, customer friendly broker. Now that it is TD Waterhouse, the method of operation has changed. Even the most elementary feature -such as putting a date on the Account Balance Page - is missing. I print my account balance daily and have to handwrite the date. Contents of suggestion box are probably thrown into the trash bin.

The brokerage commission rate has increased dramatically for option trading. I trade put option frequently, and between the Bid/Ask spread plus hefty commission plus the need to trade with a broker (where the commission is even higher) arising from online quotes are not accurate, and that they only route it to a certain exchange instead of to an exchange with the best price, I really am looking to move my account which is decent in size. I have not decided which to choose. I already deal with Brown & Co, but I cannot open a second account unless it is an individual account. Any suggestion?

Put trading on QCOM has been quite profitable. Keep the shares, and add to it using money generated from selling put. I have yet to be assigned.
