I am reading a great book on Kosovo right now. Its
called "The Road to Kosovo" and is written by a war
correspondent and photographer that spent some time
in Bosnia after the Dayton agreement. The situation
in Bosnia is bleak. I highly recommend that anyone
who wants to understand the Balkans read it. I must
warn you though, it is cynical and graphic through
the jaded eyes of a war correspondent. You won't find
any heros either except in the Italian IFOR troops
assigned to Gvrbica (a Serbian held part of Sarajevo),
and even those guys are just hanging on.
