Date Short Shares Ave. Day Volume Ratio 09/99 4,216,667 949,088 4.44 08/99 3,213,289 635,297 5.06 07/99 2,981,220 308,109 9.68 06/99 2,813,636 429,488 6.55 05/99 2,081,348 319,672 6.51 04/99 1,705,390 562,332 3.03 Things aren't always as they first appear. The short interest is way up but average daily volume is also. So, the ratio isn't that bad right now compared to other months. I'd be more interested in finding out if insiders have been selling and at what price....... Best regards, Tom
