Is it not a standard ploy by explorers to proceed through the steps toward production, while awaiting the takeout offer? I don't think it means necessarily that they want to mine it or that they will mine it. And if it did come to mining, i wouldn't write them off on that account, as they have managed bay well to this point. I don't think the fact that they haven't yet finished advancing this project is a negative at all, it's a big project. And they have drilled enough to count for a lot, imho.

Claude may have at that point changed his call on ecu, i don't know, don't follow the thread closely. Suit yourself, use whatever pejorative you wish, i shall retain my respect for the man, and continue to view your 'touting' as offensive.

<<No feasibility, no metallurgy study and not fully drilled yet.>>

They are at scoping/prefeasibility. Preliminary metalurgical test have shown between 67-97% recovery rates on the silver. The mineral is cerargaryte, a heavily oxidized silver chloride. 45 drilles holes are in in one zone enough to bring the reource in the drill indicated category.. continuity is excellent. Any potential suitor will consider it a takeover without further drilling.

<< I think "touting" is the right word.>>

I am suggesting that BAY is a potential 6-7 million oz producer over 10 years. This is not touting because they have the silver to reach that kind of production level.

<< And by the way you conveniently left out some of his earlier posts on ECU. >>

I don't think we have the same definition of what is touting.

<< I think "touting" is the right word.>>

BTW, what happened since we discussed Southwestern Gold and Nord Pacific earlier this year. Your choice of word was more polite back then.

I think Nord Pacific has been delisted from Nasdaq since you "tout" it (to use you words). And it is down 50% or so...possibly more. They still have a lot of problems if I remember my last conversation with them.

In the mean time, SWG has made great progress and is only 7% below the price it was when we discussed them two stocks. I am still betting that SWG is a much better choice than Nord...
