John, A german site claims to have demonstrated an error in the coppermine? It is somehow associated with memory and it give correct answers most of the time, but introduces errors every few calculations.

John - Re: "With all the good news on various vendors IBM,MUI,HWP,etc. announcing new application of new Cu mine chips what is up(down) with the stock today. Volume was light but this is a wieeerd response to a lot of very good news. Was this all discounted on Friday? "

Yes - it was.

The Coppermine launch was known well in advance.

Now, Intel has to demonstrate strong sales and profits - and this will take most of Q499.

Getting the i820 FIXED and Launched will go a long way to help restore some of Intel's lost credibility - although the i840 launch today sure seems to have helped.
