<Athlon to be used in MSFT's GameBox> I have a hard time believing that Microsoft's proposed GameBox is going to be successful against Sony and Nintendo's upcoming platforms. How the heck is MS going to get mainstream software developers like Square, Konami, and Capcom (the people with multi-million dollar budgets devoted to each game alone) to develop for them? As Sony already proved, it's the software, stupid, which is why Playstation I is doing very well against the N64, even though the N64 has superior hardware specs. And I'd still feel the same way even if MS changes its mind and goes with Intel instead of AMD. Now, if Sony, Sega, or Nintendo decided on an Athlon or Pentium III for an upcoming product, that would be a different story. But MS? Yeah, I'm really looking forward to MS' flagship game, called "Microsoft Bob and the Blue Screen Of Death!" Tenchusatsu
