Response to Greg Hull

I did indeed see your original post and opted to pass on responding to you (hence the no response). Since you have seen fit to reask the question I will tell you expressly that I am not interested in responding.. ok?

Your post is innocent enough in origin but you architect your question in order to force a response to put someone into the non-disinterested audience category, unless they validate YOUR hypothesis (or your experience whichever) that only disinterested engineers use all products in a product category.. I can actually say that I AM disinterested in this discussion (does that count..?). Do you have a technical FC issue you would like to discuss relative to either switch or another switch? We can discuss that and then YOU can determine when you would want to use one switch, and when you would want to use another..

(And that I can see only one instance in where I would use an Ancor switch in a SAN application. That would be in the situation where I was trying to convince someone to use the Brocade switch and they were hell bent on using the Ancor one. In that instance it would be simple, I would have the end user actually install both switches and then decide..)
