Cabernet, a red wine, goes very well with chocolate. After a day of diving, and after dinner, five or six of us sat around the table on the boat. We drank red wine and ate chocolate bars. Every time one chocolate bar disappeared another one appeared. This went on for quite awhile. Finally, I asked, "where did all the chocolate bars come from?" One of the guys had bought a box with 100 at Costco. After that experience, I had a wine tasting party. I made a rich chocolate cake for dessert so we could eat it while we drank our red wine......
