Theo, Deb: This does look good. I'm in with both GAAY and QBID. These stocks so far have a lot going for them. Lets see what happens. Bob

Deb, However, I have no doubt the merger will happen, and it will be positive for all. I've been positive that this has been a done deal as well:) Both GAAY and QBID are undervalued right now. Agreed. I also got a good chuckle tonite at Honda's expense based on that supposition. I bought a position in QBID a little while ago to "hedge" by investment, so to speak. It's no secret that if QBID climbs, then GAAY will follow, albeit somewhat slower. To take advantage of the ratio and "flip" this combo is no secret. B.I.G., however, basically spelled the procedure out step by step and now Honda is P.O.d at B.I.G. accusing him of trying to stump GAAY while pushing QBID for his (BIG's) benefit. Sheesh....what paranoia. If I bought QBID with that intent before B.I.G.s post, how many others do you think already had that figured out?? LOL!! Will be nice when this whole ordeal is over and we can just sit back and relax and watch the final product grow...<gg> Got a call tonite from Scott @ IMS. He left a message on my answering machine. Get home too late- (12 hour shifts) so I will have to call him (or whomever is available) from work tomorrow. Was doing a little digging tonite. Remembered that some poster recently questioning the "Ltd" suffix and stated he thought that was a British business designation. Got me thinking because he is partly correct. Seems to be common in Cananda as well....Anyway, I remembered that GLMC had signed TBC some time ago: "Global Media is pleased to sign Triangle Broadcasting Company, Inc. as the exclusive gay and lesbian broadcast company on the Global Media Broadcast Network. Triangle Radio Network will provide news, information, and talk programming 24 hours a day, 7 days a week beginning August 31, 1999. The gay and lesbian community represents a considerable entertainment consumer market whose buying power has recently been sought after by advertisers around the world... That in and of itself didn't really impress me as I admit that I hadn't followed up with GLMC to this point so I did a little more: Notice "international" "Today we have reached an agreement to broadcast our gay and lesbian radio network on a major international Internet broadcast network, we chose the Global Media Network because we felt their combination of customized Global Player and e-commerce solution established them as the industry leaders," said Frank Olsen, president, Triangle Broadcasting. What is Global Media? Global Media is the only e-commerce business aggregating audio and video streaming while enhancing the frames of the site with not just static editorial but the real live experience of music, video and flash animation to promote the sale of the thousands of products available. Loads of info in the additional P.R.s. Equally obvious that this company does not sit still either: Global Media Corp. (OTC BB:GLMC), an Internet company focused on providing e-commerce and streaming tools for media and entertainment companies, today announced the signing of a term sheet with Standard Radio Inc., the most listened-to radio group in Canada. Standard Radio is a subsidiary of Standard Broadcasting Corporation Limited ("SBCL"), the largest privately owned multimedia company in Canada. The estimated closing date of the transactions described in the term sheet is October 22, 1999. The term sheet calls for Global Media to provide both its streaming and e-commerce solutions to all radio stations owned by Standard Radio currently and during the next three years. Further, the term sheet provides that a number of Standard Radio's managers will serve on an advisory committee that Global Media will establish for the purpose of assisting its sales and marketing efforts to the radio industry in the USA, Canada and abroad. The term sheet also calls for Standard Radio to invest US$2 million in the purchase of shares of Global Media's common stock. What does all this mean? Way to much work for me to wade through. But, it does appear that we are all interwoven by a common bond- radio broadcasting.
