sonny i disagree. these days and for those to come, a decent trader will make substantially more money trading internet stocks than holding them long term especially when the odds that we may get a real permanent selloff are still high. as history has shown us with similar manias if people start dumping these inut stocks, none will be spared. another great reason for sticking with trading and not holding these stocks over an extended period of time.

anyway, these stocks are highly volatile and have been pretty predictable. they run and then they selloff, repeat. the sad part about aol is it had a strong runup early in the year but has fizzled since. i've done extremely well trading ebay and yhoo this year though. btw, i'm actually long aol (and losing money), not short.
