Paul,

re:"stevie - Your buddies at AMD must be SLIPPING !"

Of course your comments were an answer to my comments?

re:"Too bad about Barrett. He shouldn't take all the blame for iNTEL's failures, but then again he does spend too much time worrying about AMD. Maybe with Barrett gone iNTEL can get back to worrying about iNTEL and not AMD.

Paul, you're an example of what is happening at iNTEL: too much time preoccupied with Jerry and AMD. AMD IS NOT iNTEL's biggest problem; iNTEL is iNTEL'S biggest problem."

You continue to use AMD as a fantasy of all of iNTEL's problems.
I thought iNTEL might realize what is happening, but if iNTEL's management continues on your focus, it may take several quarters for my POINT to be considered. I'll say it again, if iNTEL will focus on iNTEL, their problems will take care of themselves.

Sorry about the yield problems on .18 MIA-CuMines.
Sure hope they can get that 733 BUG fixed soon.
Maybe next year. Looks like 4q is shot for iNTEL.

Too bad.

steve

Re: "I would have liked to run the AMD tests on a shipping off-the-shelf motherboard, but neither the FIC or Asus motherboards could complete all the benchmark tests."

This is a serious indictment. Poor availability and even worse quality.
