Empirically then it might be fair to say that Zicam works better for people with an open mind.

Better off peddling anecdotal evidence...much harder to disprove. Hey, you know how you can tell when a salesman is lying?

On a more serious note, my cold is past its annoying stage. I did what I usually do when I get a cold---I rest more, take cold medicine (Alka-Seltzer Plus Cold Medicine and Nyquil at night), drink plenty of juice and cold soda. My cold is basically behind me now. This malarkey about 14 day colds is pure wishful BS in my opinion. I caught my cold from my 13 year old daughter. Her cold lasted about the same amount of time, maybe one day more than mine. Both of us are off the cold medicine and feeling fine. Most people will see through this misleading advertising in the long run. That's my opinion.
