Dlphc: Thanks - I may be wrong ( and poorer) over HWP. What you say makes perfect sense. However, there are a couple of factors that continue to twist my arm to HWP. First, the Agilent spin off. Second - since we live in an HP town, I rub shoulders with over 6000 HP engineers regularily. I see how bright they are and how much they want to succeed. I just can't see them staying down for long. However, I do very much agree about waiting to buy again on the way up. I appreciate your thoughts. Thanks again.

**OT** Investing Follies--see if this doesn't sound familiar.

I had been tracking CMTN following announcement of early release of lock-up shares. The stock sank like a stone from 110 and appeared to have bottomed early AM on 10/28 an 71, rebounding sharply over the day to end at 75 1/2. I decided to "catch it on the way back up" and, after hearing the favorable economic news this AM, decided to buy after waiting one hour after the opening gap up. I bought at 77 1/2 and the stock promptly sold off despite an awesome day for NASDAQ, finishing at 71 11/16. I managed the awesome feat of losing 6 points in one day on a single stock during the best day on Wall St. in seven weeks. For this of you who curse your investing fate, I hope you find solace in reading this. Any comments or thoughts are welcome.

P.S. For a small fee, if you send me your e-mail address, I will inform you of my future purchases so you can sell the stock short or buy puts.
