thanks for the spelling lesson - I'll find some Tullamore Dew on your toute (?towt?) - try the old Jamison sometime though - it has a cork in the top insted of a screw top.

Patrick and Thread... Plese accept my apologies for being the real cause this incident happened. I perceived we were going to have problems with editing trading posts, but procrastinated on providing the solution. This issue crossed my mind several times today before this incident happened and I failed to respond in time.

The root of the problem is that on the old S.I., you can't respond to a post you created less than 15 minutes ago... You can only edit it. So if you want to make a new trade within a 15 minute time window of the prior trade, you have no choice but to edit your most recent trading post. If you respond to a prior trading post, you break the trade trail we're trying to maintain for ease of viewing daily trades.

But obviously a new problem arises when you edit a prior post... there is no time stamp on the edit... and time is of the essence in the trading biz... and for maintaining the assured integrity of the contest.

The fix for this is to simply have everyone utilize the new S.I. if they must enter a trade within a 15 minute time window of the prior one, as it does not have this limitation. I will now officially request that everyone do this so that trade entry integrity will never again be an issue... No more Edits.

As for all prior trades made via editing prior trading posts... They stand as reported unless it can be proven without a reasonable doubt that an error was made.

Thank you for your patience,

David
