I'll tell you whats wrong with ATON. MMs got toasted on days one and two of trading. They opened the stock too low and they paid the price. They need to bring the stock in to at least break even. In order to do this, they provide the minimum liquidity they can get away with on the bid side and additional liquidity on the sell side. They are perfectly willing to sell/short more because they know they can easily cover or buy lower. How do they get away with this? Nobody is watching the magnitude of price moves in relation to volume. Large price moves on low volume is manipulation. Where do the MMs need the price to go to? I suspect their goal is the midpoint of the pricebar on day 1 or $63.
