V,

First - I love your stories. My comment was not directed at anyone.

My comments were terse as that is my style. I wish I could express my thoughts on this more clearly. The sequel thing goes way back. I lost contributors at the beginning when every story went on and on through sequels and I complained. (this happened somewhere in the first 300 posts. There were many supporters of the sequel-diminshes opinion. I think some very valid points were made about this and the thread moved on.

As new contributors join the thread the tendency to "add" to the original story is very strong. I don't complain about it anymore as I do not want to lose contributors. I do still hold the opinion that sequels diminish the wholeness of the original. That's my opinion and I do not condemn anyone for doing it. Some sequels have been fantastic. I do not want anyone to stop having fun.

Please stay.

Tom
